Fresh statistics published today by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) indicate that digital brands are on the increase.

Digital brands can be defined by the fact that they are usually always web based companies. Web shops or digital studios offering services delivered remotely.

Personally, I’m not convinced that there has been a significant rise in online companies, I think it’s more a case of the next generation coming through who are more IT literate. It has always been harder for my mother’s generation to get to grips with marketing online. She still goes into the store to by her product, even if she did look for it first on Google!

The future of business is online which means that the online space is set to become increasingly more competitive. The battle to engage customers and make websites interactive is going to be key to keep customers. On that note, does anyone fancy making me some fancy videos to go on here?
